Rhythmic Attitudes' Future

Dear Rhythmic Attitudes Customers,

I have come to a very heart breaking decision. After looking into some gyms in the area, I have to realized that I cannot afford to start a new Rhythmic program. Rhythmic Attitudes was a “small” gym, a gym in which I personally knew every one of my students and their family. I have developed great relationships with the majority of my former students. Coaching for the past 20 years made me realize what a difference a coach can have on their young gymnasts. I am so incredibly proud of many of our gymnasts who carried on the work ethics I taught at the gym.

I am a single mom of 3 young kids and do not have much help (at the gym or with my kids), which makes both my competitive and recreational teams harder to coach consistently. I have always put 100% of my heart and soul into rhythmic. I loved every minute of it. I feel it would be selfish not to continue coaching the same way. My kids are young and get sick often, and unfortunately the lack of Rhythmic coaches makes it so much harder to run a successful program.

I have thought about this a tremendous amount and came to a decision that at least for the next 3 years I will put my heart and soul into my kids... because at the moment they need it the most.

Rhythmic Attitudes will exist but in a very small capacity. I have been asked to run gymnastics and tumbling classes at a private school. This would also allow me to continue training my kids. I was also asked to teach stretching and conditioning for a competitive dance team.

Thank you to all gymnasts and parents who became part of my life- you are like my family. My kids and I made a few lifelong friendships. All the notes, cards, and hand-made presents I will cherish. Facebook, hope you will be around so I can keep up with all my former gymnasts and their lives that I was so lucky to be a part of.
Perhaps in the future a new door will open and I will be lucky enough to teach Rhythmic gymnastics again, one of the most beautiful Olympic sports.

Thank you for your understandings,
Kriszti
